The Persuasive Process Learning Module

This is the first of three learning modules developed to instruct students about persuasion. This foundational learning module uses video clips from the television show Boston Legal to introduce the importance of persuasion, how citations can be used in support of a persuasive goal, and basic persuasive organization. In addition, this module helps students to define persuasion, understand and explain why it is an important part of presentational speaking, and to clarify the differences between speaking to inform and speaking to persuade.
